Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not retain or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be kept long enough to review and answer it. Messages remain within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal duty.
Data We Gather Automatically
Page requests can automatically produce basic technical and usage records, including:
- Page-view timestamps
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- The referring website, when supplied
- Visited pages and approximate time spent
- The device's assigned IP address
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. They and analytics services help combine traffic data, such as popular pages and exit points. Browser controls can block cookies, although disabling them may change how some site features work.
What We Do With This Data
- Routing a query to the selected search provider
- Diagnosing errors and other technical problems
- Maintaining site availability and performance
- Measuring which pages are useful or need improvement
- Displaying advertising that may reflect user interests
No Court-Record Data on File
No database of personal case information or Yuma County court dockets is hosted, maintained, compiled, or sold here. The site publishes directions to the Clerk of Court, Yuma County Combined Court, city courts, and available state search systems. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or profiles about other people, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the embedded search tools. A partner's privacy policy, retention rules, and disclosure practices govern information submitted to its form. We do not control those policies. Review them before running a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to courts, clerks, state search systems, legal resources, or outside search providers. Once a visitor leaves this website, the destination's privacy terms apply. Read those terms before submitting personal details.
Some advertising providers may use their own systems to follow activity across websites and select ads. We do not operate that tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
- Analytics vendors measuring traffic and site performance
- Search providers processing a submitted query
- Advertising networks serving content on the pages
- Government or law-enforcement bodies acting under valid legal process
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, commonly used safeguards protect collected information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so these measures cannot promise that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If a minor's information is identified, a request may be made for its deletion.
Your Data Rights
Rights can vary by residence and applicable law. Colorado court-case access follows Chief Justice Directive 05-01, while the Colorado Open Records Act, C.R.S. ยงยง 24-72-200.1 through 206, governs many local administrative records. Those public-record rules do not change how this private website handles visitor data. At a minimum, a visitor may:
- Request deletion of personal data we hold
- Ask for access to information kept about them
- Seek correction of inaccurate information
- Opt out of some forms of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised. A replacement becomes available on this page with a new effective date, so visitors should review it periodically.
